HOT OFF THE VISE. . . .

Look for my monthly fly tying article in Onshore - Offshore Magazine. Each month I will cover a different fly and talk about local fly fishing opportunities.

I am also working on a number of pages devoted to fly tackle and rigging on Barflyfish.com. The first is finished, so click here to learn how to whip a loop in the end of your fly line.

I am also selling my own hand tied flies by mail, so if you want to try out a few Baboon crab flies or stock up on Rattlesnakes for next tarpon season, go to my fly mail order page.

There are a few new flies in the Fly Pattern Index including the Crouching Tiger rattle fly and the Australian Shellback Fly. Soon I will be posting instructions for tying the Rattlling Cave's Wobbler.

The Baboon redfish fly Capt; Greg Bowdish with a Matlacha Pass Redfish
It is time to start tying flies for the Fall redfish season!
They have everything you need at Angler's Outlet to tie up some Baboons and stock your fly boxes. Remember, the dark brown works best over sand and the fire-tiger is the way to go when they are really revved up! Visit the Baboon Page for tying instructions.

"BAR FLY" Tee Shirts
are here!!!

These ultra-cool fly fishing
T shirts are black, 100% preshrunk cotton short sleeve, and feature a saltwater fly rod, a martini glass, and, of course, a Baboon crab fly. They make a great statement at the local pub and provide great camouflage when fly casting around those oyster bars at night. Order yours today!

I have just sent some baboons off to the Fly Tying Exhibition in the German Museum for Hunting and Fishing in Munich, Germany. The flies will become part of their permanant collection.
