My
favorite thing about kayak fishing is all the crazy things
that happen and the fact that you don't always win the battle
with the fish - especially when it's five feet long! I assembled
this video out of clips that basically show fish kicking
my *ss. There is more about the video below. Hope you enjoy
it!

This
small shark was caught far offshore on a Zoom Horny Toad
as the sun was setting. Not a big
shark, but it wasn't much fun when it fell in my kayak!
If only I had caught that on video. . .

I guess
you could consider this a video of kayak fishing bloopers.
If you are not familiar with saltwater kayak fishing, this
video montage will give you some idea of how crazy things
can get while kayak fishing for more aggressive species like
jack crevalle, snook, tarpon, and even sharks. It answers
a lot of those questions I get during seminars like "Do
the fish really tow you around" and "What happens
when you hook a shark?" There is also a lot of great
footage of fish going under the kayak, kayaks colliding, a
broken rod, and a few of those fish "that got away"
scenerios. All the clips were filmed in Matlacha Pass, Pine
Island Sound, and Sanibel Island from Dec 2006 through October
2007.
I want
to thank Art Linton for giving me permission to use his internet
